ReplyDeleteWith all these pump-up weightlifting comics you're posting, I'm reminded of an old story you'd written called the HBO Super-Stud Contest or something like that and that one of the events was the guys having to lift weights with their dicks. To me that was the hottest, most arousing thing I'd ever come across. Any thoughts of revisiting that with the current cast of guys and gals? Maybe limit it to 5 guys and gals to give more focus and detail to all the contenders?
ReplyDeleteHey Tim. There was a story you'd written sometime back called the HBO Studs Special, or something like that, that had ten guys competing to be crowned the 'best stud'. I vaguely remember their being five competitions, Muscle Size, Muscle Strength, Cock Size, Cock Strength, and Semen Amount.
ReplyDeleteWhat with your vast improvements in rendering and expressions, as well as doing multiple part comics, did you ever think about revisiting that idea? Originally you'd written is as a run-away win for Sven, who came first in all but one contest and of those, all but one ended in a landslide victory.
This is just a suggestion but maybe you could reduce the amount of competitors to five; perhaps limiting it to Stefan, Tim, Sven, Matteo and perhaps your new addition of Rod Hughes so more focus can be spent on the intensity of the competition?
Either way, amazing job with everything. Keep on improving!
Sounds like a good idea but difficult to render with my computer... I am kind of limited to three characters max before it starts being too slow...
DeleteHow about photoshop? Saving chars in manageable numbers in a PNG file with no background and using PS to just slap'em together :)
DeleteOr maybe like you did before with the Muscle World Cup, you could introduce each guy individually and just do a series of separate images of each event for the pairings. That would come to about 30 separate images, not quite double what you're pumping out now.
DeleteAnd if that's too much for your computer to handle, you could always limit the focus on the top three contenders for each event and just mention the latter two in a caption or on a scoreboard, knocking you back down to 20 images.
So saving round two for another strip. Also going with the underground porn bit, that was interesting. Can't wait for more.

ReplyDeleteThe stories that Tim comes up with are great already and I am very happy to read/view whatever piques his interest. Frankly I am happy his artwork graces the web at all since he does it entirely on his own. So if it takes a muse, inspiration for him to spend his free time learning new software, writing and illustrating this elaborate illustrated stories for our enjoyment I will just be happy that he is generous enough to share it with us. Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but his work, any artist's work, drawn, written or otherwise, that we enjoy and is not hidden behind a paywall, is a gift. Everyone who views his work should appreciate it as such. And thankfully most people seem to. But it amazes me how entitled some people can be! [Buzdlove gets down off his soapbox.]
